Air China Hosts Sri Lankan Tour Operators on Immersive 10-Day Tour of China

Air China Colombo recently facilitated a 10-day cultural tour for a group of Sri Lankan tour operators, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China. The initiative aimed to deepen ties between the two nations and promote China as a key travel destination for Sri Lankan tourists.

The journey began in Chengdu, a city renowned for its vibrant culinary scene and as the home of the iconic giant panda. The tour then proceeded to Changsha, known as ‘The Star City,’ where the tour operators explored its rich historical significance alongside its growing economic prominence.

Next on the itinerary was Hengyang, a city celebrated for its stunning natural landscapes and deep-rooted historical heritage.
