Sri Lanka welcomes prestigious French Incentive Group for a Week-Long Exploration

Sri Lanka rolled out the red carpet and welcomed a prestigious French incentive group  facilitated by Connaissance De Ceylan recently at the Bandaranaike International Airport.

The group comprising 126 travelers is set to explore the island over the next seven days amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant culture along with its history, heritage and natural beauty.

The group was welcomed by Connaissance De Ceylan together with Chrishantha Fernando, the General Manager of the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau. The traditional Sri Lanka hospitality was extended to all visitors who embraced the welcome and set off enthusiastically on their journey.

Their itinerary includes a journey through some of Sri Lanka’s most captivating regions, including the Cultural Triangle, Kandy, and the East Coast gem of Pasikudah. Accommodation providers on their itinerary include Aliya Resort & Spa, Mahaweli Reach Hotel, and Amaya Beach, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay throughout their journey.

Chandra Wickramasinghe, Chairman of Connaissance De Ceylan, emphasized the growing potential for incentive tourism in the country. He remarked, “The increase of seat capacity to Sri Lanka via the Middle East has created a greater demand for incentives in Sri Lanka. The increase of direct flights from Europe will no doubt increase the country’s appeal further.”

This visit not only highlights Sri Lanka’s emergence as a premier destination for incentive travel but also highlights the country’s ability to cater to discerning travelers seeking unique and enriching experiences. With its blend of cultural heritage, natural beauty, and warm hospitality, Sri Lanka continues to captivate visitors from around the globe.
