Colombo International Airport Hotels Pvt. Ltd. to construct first Airport Hotel in partnership with Airport and Aviation Services of Sri Lanka

Colombo international Airport Hotels Pvt. Ltd announces its plan to construct the first ever Airport hotel with in Katunayake Airport and Aviation Services Lanka Ltd. premises. The hotel launched under ‘Colombo International Airport Hotels’ is an ambitious project poised to expand in to a mega value addition to the expanding capacity of the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Sri Lanka. The hotel which is the first phase of the development will be ready by Dec, 2022 is located 23 km’s from the city of Colombo and 10 minutes from Negombo beach.

In addition to offering a long-waited value addition to BIA, the hotel will offer 4-star facilities with 185 rooms inclusive of Superior, Deluxe and Suite rooms. The resort’s facilities include a spacious main pool, a gym, a Spa, a MICE Center, crew lounge and number of restaurants and bars complimented with a stunning rooftop leisure lounge, all set in a lush tropical ambience.

After an exciting day exploring the island or arriving/departing from Sri Lanka on business or leisure, travelers can look forward to utmost convenience at a hotel designed to foster a welcoming and convenience offer next to the airport.

CIAH also acknowledge and appreciate Ms. F. Michio who is a goodwill ambassador to Sri Lanka in Japan and also an ardent supporter and promoter of this project.

Together with the Japanese collaboration a very well renowned Consultants group in Sri Lanka and a leading Construction Consortium will be responsible for the construction of the project with an aggressive and ambitious plan to start business by the deadline.
